CyberKongz, founded by the artist Myoo in March 2021, is an NFT project that has consistently introduced and popularized innovative NFT mechanics. These include the $BANANA token, breeding capabilities, and Play & Kollect (PnK): serving as the bridge between all existing and future assets within the CyberKongz universe.
Reimagining the Play & Kollect framework, to unify various minting tasks through implementing a scalable, seamless, and immersive design solution.
In collaboration with CyberKongz for the public site revamp, Sixty Two worked on the recreation of PnK within the CybeKongz ecosystem. Our joint objective was to empower the NFT holders to efficiently manage their assets and execute the minting process smoothly.
Forging a robust framework for the PnK mechanism began with in-depth workshops alongside the CyberKongz' council and working team. These collaborative sessions unlocked exciting possibilities for the future, fueled by insights from multiple rounds of iterative user experience audits.
Identifying challenges in managing minting tasks and assets, the concept of a centralized "Dashboard" emerged. This streamlined solution aligns perfectly with the goal of simplifying asset management and providing easy access to diverse minting tasks/Points of Interest (POIs).

Building a scalable IA and product framework for optimal experiences
A critical hurdle for this project lies in crafting a flexible architecture that effortlessly accommodates diverse POIs. This framework must strike a delicate balance between two seemingly opposing forces: cohesion and creativity.
In tackling this challenge, it's crucial to balance two key objectives. Firstly, maintaining a consistent user experience and visual language across all POIs is essential for fostering familiarity and intuitive navigation. Conversely, it must grant ample room for creative expression, allowing each mini-minting game to shine with unique visuals, engagement mechanics, and thematic flair. Achieving this harmonious interplay is paramount for ensuring both an engaging and consistent experience for users, regardless of the POI they encounter.
Building upon the established framework, we've implemented significant enhancements across fundamental user interactions and PnK mechanisms - which are essential gameplays that holders are able to do to keep growing their level, status, and assets to keep them continuously engaged as existing users.
By prioritizing key touchpoints, we have significantly improved user experiences that makes it easier for holders be more informed prior to doing gameplays, along with simplified mechanics on team building and asset transfers:
Seamless Team Building: upgraded Kongz selection to simplify team formation during the gameplay in Adventure Run.
Clarity in Progress: users now have clear access to the necessary information about the required number of runs to level up their Kongz.
Simplified Adventure Run: categorized functions to minimize confusion, ensuring users grasp both the costs and potential rewards associated with the gameplay in Adventure Run.
Transparent Treasury Management: users can now easily understand their commitments to the overall prize, with enhanced intuitiveness in viewing leaderboard history.
Bridging Networks: streamlining asset transfers between different networks through interface restructuring and contextual help.
In addition to these core improvements, we've introduced a new Ethereum Name Service (ENS) feature, allowing users to personalize their usernames and establish unique identities.
Given that users need to frequently switch between performing Adventure Run and checking available assets on the dashboard, it was imperative to introduce a core navigational system through a toggle. This enables users to seamlessly switch between the two primary platforms: the Dashboard and the Map.
Previously, the CyberKongz assets were scattered across different platforms, making it difficult to get a complete picture of users' holdings. We addressed this by centralizing and categorizing all relevant assets on the main dashboard. This simplifies navigation and empowers users to find the assets they need instantly, enhancing their gameplay experience.
In our quest to ensure user efficiency, we prioritized access to the most relevant functions on the dashboard. Through meticulous planning, we carefully structured the features and content hierarchy. By strategically organizing the layout, we ensure that users can swiftly navigate to the functions they need most. This approach not only saves users time but also enhances their overall experience by reducing unnecessary steps and optimizing usability.
In the dynamic CyberKongz ecosystem, which comprises various mechanisms, ensuring users have clarity about their immediate status and the required actions at each step is paramount. This includes providing clear instructions and descriptions, even when the profile is inactive (as shown in the example on the left).
By furnishing users with the necessary information precisely when they need it, we aim to minimize disruptions to their tasks. This proactive approach not only enhances user experience but also fosters a smoother navigation process, empowering users to interact seamlessly within the ecosystem.
